THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF THE CIVIL SOCIETY AS A PARTNER OF THE CIVIL CELEBRATIONS OF 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF POLAND’S INDEPENDENCE

The International Institute of the Civil Society has become a partner of the Civil Celebrations of 100th Anniversary of Poland’s Independence – an initiative associating various non-government organizations which - having in common certain ideas and values - cooperate in favor of the Civil Celebrations of the National Anniversary.

100 years ago, owing to passionate hearts, profound desire for freedom, the sense of community and national connection Poland became anew a free country. Independent Poland is a great achievement of the entire Nation.

Today’s forceful Poland is our common good and is our pride. Together we want do launch activities in order to celebrate, as a community, the national anniversary with dignity and joyfulness. By means of the exchange of ideas, concepts and experiences we want to support forming appropriate space which will facilitate contemplation, that will strengthen intergenerational ties and moreover that will increase the knowledge of the recent history of our country.

The initiative called “Our Independent” pursues to form an open platform – by means of cooperation with different communities and organizations – which will facilitate mutual inspiration and social forming of the national identity. The 100th Anniversary of Poland’s Independence is a special time – a time of experiencing together pride and joy regarding Independent Poland.
