Civic Workshops in Płock
On September 22, 2022, the Center for Non-Governmental Organizations in Płock hosted a Civic Workshop, which was organized - once again - by the International Institute of Civil Society in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland. The workshop in Płock was held thanks to the support and hospitality of the Płock City Hall.
Civic Workshops have been organized by MISO and the Adenauer Foundation since 2019. Their idea is to encourage citizens to become socially and civically active and equip them with basic tools and knowledge in this regard. So far, the Workshops have been held in Radom, Wieluń and Ciechanów, among others, and during the pandemic we also organized them online a few times.
During Workshops their participants have an opportunity, among others, to:
-learn the most important information on legal foundations of the functioning of civil society in Poland within the “citizen has the right” block;
- acquire basic knowledge about crowdfunding - learn about Polish and foreign collection services, legal conditions, and all that based on numerous real-life examples, case studies;
- get acquainted with the activities of MISO and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and perhaps initiate future fruitful cooperation.
The International Institute of Civil Society is a non-governmental organization with 10 years of experience. In its rich history, we have organized numerous meetings, debates, conferences, webinars or workshops. Many of them we conduct in cooperation with other organizations and institutions - because, as our motto says, “together we can do more”!
Do you have any idea or project that we could implement together? Feel free to contact us and cooperate!
