“Snitch on your neighbour! Let them get what’s coming!” social action

The International Institute of the Civil Society is partnering a social action „Snitch on your neighbour! Let them get what’s coming!”. The vote for the most socially engaged organization is organized by Punkt Kontaktowy "Europa dla obywateli" of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.

The aim of the initiative "Snitch on your neighbour" is to show the public in Poland that irrespective of what we tend to believe there are many institutions and individuals engaged in social activities all across the country. The organizers and partners of the initiative plan to emphasise the importance of such activity and encourage others to get involved. At the same time, the initiative is to help the already active organizations promote their activities, develop their potential and foster their growth. There are lots of candidates, all you have to do is look around!

To be considered, a particular institution must be distinguished in the field of social activity and fostering the process of building civil society – this includes NGOs and self-government units alike, as well as privately owned companies active in the field of supporting local communities via engaging in education, culture, care for the elderly and the sick, environmental protection, creation of new jobs, re-socializing. Let them be heard!

The jury will choose 5 finalists from amongst all of the registered entrants, the final choice to be made by Facebook users via "like" (for their chosen candidate).

The prizes are to be awarded to the winning entity and the person who registered the winning entity for the vote. More information available at: www.akcja-doniesnasasiada.pl
