Gamified Civic Workshops 2.0 in Głogów

On 12 June 2026, Gamified Civic Workshops 2.0 took place in Głogów. The event was organized by the International Institute of Civil Society, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the Look Beyond Foundation.

The workshops brought together young civic activists from the Głogów Youth City Council and the Głogów County Youth Council. Their aim was to strengthen participants' civic competences and soft skills through innovative educational methods, including improvisation, simulation games, and collaborative teamwork.

The programme consisted of two complementary modules. The first one focused on self-presentation and public speaking, using improvisational techniques. The second centered on negotiation and consensus-building. Participants took part in "Coalition," an original simulation game designed by the Look Beyond Foundation.

The workshops provided participants with an opportunity to develop their communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills. They also demonstrated the vital role that dialogue, compromise, and shared responsibility play in public life and collective decision-making.
