CONFERENCE: "CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS AND POLITICAL PARTIES IN BELARUS AND THE COUNTRIES OF THE LUBLIN TRIANGLE AND THE MILITARY SITUATION IN EASTERN EUROPE".
The conference was a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between civil society leaders from Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland. Experts from these countries jointly discussed, among other things, cooperation and challenges facing NGOs and social movements in Europe.
In his speech, Maciej Pisz introduced the conference participants to the legal and social aspects of the functioning of civil society in Poland and talked about the challenges of financing social activities.
The MISO vice-president also spoke about grassroots civic initiatives undertaken by Poles after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. The MISO Foundation was also involved in organising humanitarian aid to war-stricken Ukraine.
At the end of his speech, Maciej Pisz answered numerous questions posed by the audience.
The event was organised by the IDSM Bee-Institute for Democracy and Social Market and Eastern Europe in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
