MEETING OF MISO & ASIS INTERNATIONAL POLAND CHAPTER
The event was attended, among others, by heads of security departments of large enterprises, representatives of public administration, lawyers, Public Affairs experts, representatives of the defense sector, and providers of modern biometric systems. The discussions focused on key security challenges in Poland and the region.
Participants analyzed a wide range of security-related issues, emphasizing the need to strengthen systemic education and increase investment in training and preventive measures — both in the public and private sectors. An important part of the discussions was also the assessment of recent incidents targeting critical infrastructure and the identification of practical conclusions drawn from protective actions taken.
Attention was also given to the importance of building a mature security culture within organizations and identifying practices that prove effective across different sectors of the economy. Participants shared international experiences, pointing to examples of countries adopting Polish solutions and standards in the field of security. Another significant pert of the discussion was the analysis of lessons learned from the war in Ukraine.
The meeting between MISO and the ASIS International Poland Chapter is an example of effective cross-sector cooperation and the consistent building of a security culture. The exchange of experiences and integration of diverse perspectives , from experts, public administration, civil society, and business, contributes tangibly to strengthening the resilience of the state, society, and economy.
