Another conference under IICS’s honorary patronage! This time it’s Poznań International Model United Nations 2017 (POZiMUN 2017) international conference entitled The World in Turmoil: Challenges for Sustainable Development" which will be held from 4-7th May 2017. The event is organized by an academic club for international law and diplomacy [Koło Naukowe Prawa Międzynarodowego i Dyplomacji] Inter Gentes of UAM, Parliamentary Debate Club [Klub Debat Parlamentarnych] of UAM and IFMSA – Poznań Dept. (International Association of Medicine Students).
POZiMUN is a simulation of a UN summit and its aim is to focus the participants’ attention on significant problems of the modern world and ways of solving such problems. The difficult bit is that you get to act as a representative of the country which is not your own, but still have to face and solve its problems as if it were.
