IICS AS A PATRON OF ALL-POLAND CONFERENCE "RESTART"

On behalf of the project: KonferencjaCE.org we invite you to the VII all-Poland conference "RESTART. What kind of Europe is ceasing to exist and what has begun?", which will be held on 19th April 2013 in the Library of the University of Warsaw, Dobra 56/66 Street in the hall 316 (from 10 o’clock). The International Institute of the Civil Society has become a patron of the event as far the content is concerned.

Our special guest will be Janusz Lewandowski, European commissioner for finance programming and the EC budget who will make a speech concerning EURO and whether it will divide Europe. The conference will be attended by i.a. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Jacek Protasiewicz, Jadwiga Staniszkis, Jan Barcz, Janusz Piechociński, Henryka Bochniarz and Krzysztof Wielecki.

During this year edition we will debate on Europe and whether it has started combating ongoing economic, political and social crisis. Does the Union need new utopia? new dream that will be attractive enough for societies so their leaders would have to respect it? Or maybe we need non-utopia and we should debate on Europe we do not know? These questions and many others will be given to our guests on 19th April 2013.
