On 14th June 2013 diplomas and awards were given to laureates of the all-Poland essay contest under the title “Civil society from the youth’s perspective”. The contest was organized by the International Institute of the Civil Society in cooperation with the Vice-President of the European Parliament Jacek Protsiewicz and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland. It was aimed i.a. to promote the concept of the civil society, the civil society attitude and increasing of the level of the social-citizen participation of the youth. Ecolines Polska sp. z o.o. was the sponsor of the contest.
The laureates of the contest were invited by Jacek Protasiewicz for a trip to the European Parliament and also were given diplomas and prizes, i.a. coach tickets for two people to Paris, Vilnus or Berlin. The laureates visited the lower and upper Chamber of the Polish Parliament (Sejm and Senat) due to which they got to know the organization and way of functioning of the Polish Parliament.
