The Poznań Congress of Young Medical Scientists (formerly the Congress of Scientific Circles) is an annual event held at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. It provides a forum for the discussion of the most important current problems of the Polish and world science. The event attracts about 300 active participants and numerous listeners every year.

Three conferences have been organized as part of the Poznań Congress of Young Scientists. The last event titled  "Personality development in children and adolescents at different stages of education" will be held on September 10-11, 2021, in remote form on the ClickMeeting platform.

In particular, the organizers invite representatives of broadly understood social sciences, psychologists, and educators to participate in the event, which is intended to create a space for a broad scientific discourse within several fields centered around the main theme. The conference proposes three main thematic blocks. The final division of the conference into panels will depend on the subjects of the submitted papers.

• Study and description of child and adolescent personality

• Sexual identity as an object of social discourse

• Educational function of parents in children’s and adolescents’ identity development

• Personality and identity of children and adolescents in the light of different paradigms of psychology, pedagogy, sociology, philosophy

Role of educational environment in the development process

• Matching the school curriculum to students’ personality development

• How can the school support the identity development

• Personality determinants of student-teacher relationships

• Importance of school environment for the development of children’s and adolescents’ personality traits

• Personality and school achievements - how does preschool education affect child development?

• Child's personality and socialization in peer groups

  Experience of the pandemic as an important element of young generation identity.

The conference fee is 50 PLN. Students of Adam Mickiewicz Poznań University are exempt from the fee.
