MISO PARTNER of the PROJECT “Non-governmental Center for Assistance to Ukraine”

The International Institute for Civil Society has become a partner in the project titled “Non-governmental Center for Assistance to Ukraine” (PCPU – Polish acronym), the goal of which is to collect and publish on the PCPU website reliable information and websites that can be helpful to Ukrainian war refugees residing in Poland. The website is available in four language versions: Polish, Ukrainian, Russian and English.

All the information published on the PCPU portal comes from verified, safe sources, owing to which Ukrainians seeking assistance will get reliable answers to questions that are bothering them.

The website of the Non-Governmental Center for Assistance to Ukraine provides also information on, among other things: verified in-kind collections, matters related to legalization of residence and employment, the law on assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict, the procedure for assigning a PESEL number for Ukrainian citizens, reception points or refugee status.

The PCPU website also offers legal advice within the framework of free legal assistance for Ukrainian citizens, provided by both the International Institute of Civil Society and the Elżanowski & Partnerzy law firm.

Its initiator, Michal Osowski, talks about the project itself in a Polish Radio 24 broadcast (link).
