THE CENTER OF POLITOLOGICAL ANALYSES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW AS A PARTNER OF IICS

On 20th December 2012 the President of IICS Mateusz Komorowski and the Director of the Center of Politological Analyses professor Stanisław Sulowski concluded an agreement concerning cooperation between the International Institute of the Civil Society and the Center of Politological Analyses (CPA) of the University of Warsaw. Its aim is to mutually support one another with the undertaken activities and with the formation of platform to organize joint initiatives of a social, scientific and educational character. CPA has become one of the partners of IICS as a result of the cooperation agreement.

The Center of Politological Analyses (CPA) is an independent organization aimed at promoting better understanding of important issues connected with society, economy and politics. CPA is ideologically neutral and objective and it abides by highest academic standards. Studies conducted by CPA are aimed at serving the common good and are not in favor of any political option.

Materials and analyses created by CPA are prepared by domestic and foreign specialists from politological university centers.

Basis goals of CPA:

identification of current problems on a Polish, European and international political scene;
provision of problem-solving proposals;
promotion of the exchange of ideas between crucial actors of the political scene;

In order to reach its goals CPA:

conducts domestic and international research projects which results are published in public;
organizes: conferences, presentations, seminars, certain topic-related meetings;
conducts educational activity by organizing training and courses addressed to pupils, students, young political leaders, employees in administration.

At the same time CPA creates reports, expertize and analyses – on the basis of private orders from domestic and foreign institutions and organizations and also renders consulting services in areas related to politics.
