PROFESSOR KONSTANTY A. WOJTASZCZYK AS A MEMBER OF PROGRAM COMMITTEE OF IICS


It is our utmost pleasure to inform that Professor doctor hab. Konstanty A. Wojtaszczyk has become a member of the Program Council of the International Institute of the Civil Society. Prof. Wojtaszczyk is a prominent Polish political scientist and a lawyer specializing in European integration. He has been an employee of the Institute of Political Sciences of the University of Warsaw since 1975. In the years 1990-1998 Professor was a Deputy Director of the Political Science Institute regarding scientific research and the cooperation with abroad. In the years 1998-2001 the Director of the Institute of Political Sciences. The chairman of the Main Committee of the Tournament on the knowledge on Poland and Contemporary World. Vice-rector regarding student affairs of the University of Warsaw and the Director of the European Institutions unit of IPS, Jean Monnet-Chair in the years 2001-2005 and from 2009; a member of Central Commission for Degrees and Science Titles, a member of Political Science Committee of Polish Science Academy. Since the academic year 2009/2010 the Director of the European Studies Faculty.
