Israeli Breakfast

On March 2, 2022, the office of the International Institute of Civil Society hosted an “Israeli Breakfast” with the participation of Marta Kubica, President of the ELNET Foundation – POLAND.

During the inaugural “Israeli Breakfast” the invited guests – besides tasting traditional Israeli food - had an opportunity to talk with Marta Kubica, who spoke about her history and experiences in Israel, as well as about ELNET-Poland's tasks, goals and current projects. The meeting was attended by members of the MISO community, representatives of NGOs and business, as well as academics.

Marta Kubica discussed the latest and most important topics concerning Israel, including the country's involvement in the war in Ukraine. The participants discussed, among other topics, the COVID-19 pandemic in Israel, international security and Israeli know-how in crisis situations. They also considered in what areas the Polish society was similar to the Israeli one.

“Israeli Breakfast” is a series of meetings about Israel, showing the country through a prism of personal stories and experiences. The project aims at creating a platform for dialogue - touching on topics related to Israeli society, as well as the role of women or the world of new technologies. The key to Breakfasts will be the search for answers to the question “What unites – rather than divides  - Poles and Israelis?”

ELNET (European Leadership Network) is an international non-profit organization with one goal - to exchange experiences and deepen cooperation between Europe and Israel based on common needs and democratic values.
