The meeting was attended by members of the MISO community, representatives of NGOs and business, Embassies officials, as well as research workers.

During the third “MISO Breakfast,” we had a discussion, among other things, about the strategy and priorities for the development of the University of Warsaw, the current state of education and higher education, the economy and governance in times of the pandemic, as well as civil society and social engagement.

The UW Rector stressed that his priorities included improving the University of Warsaw's position in the prestigious ranking of the world's best universities (i.e. the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities), improving and strengthening the promotion of scientists internationally, and opening the Faculty of Medicine at the UW. Prof. Nowak also declared his willingness and readiness to cooperate with MISO for the development of civil society.
