MEETING WITH GEN. RADOSŁAW KUJAWA ENTITLED POLAND, EUROPE, THE WORLD CURRENT SECURITY CHALLENGES
Brig. Gen. Radosław Kujawa was head of the Military Intelligence Service between 2008 - 2015. Under his leadership, the military intelligence rebuilt its potential and became a fully professional service, proud of competent personnel and absolute secrecy of its operations. His tenure included the years of aggression by the Russian Federation, first against Georgia (2008) and then against Ukraine (2014), as well as the greatest involvement of Polish Military Contingents in missions abroad.
Since 2018, among other things, he has been a fellow at the Institute for the Middle Est and Far East at Jagiellonian University.
The subject of the lecture was mainly the topic of US-China rivalry in the context of the clash of systems from economic and military perspectives. We talked about America's international policy under the leadership of President J. Biden, as well as Russia and its impact on the security of Europe, including Poland.
We also touched on the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border.
Gen. Radosław Kujawa also discussed the problem of tabloidization of security issues in the Polish media.
