The separation the prosecutor’s office from the MoJ was right decision

The Oxford Debates’ Club organized on 26th February 2013 the second Oxford Debate at the University of Warsaw under the auspices of the International Institute of the Civil Society. The participants debated on a thesis: "the separation the prosecutor’s office form the Ministry of Justice was reasonable decision".

The main speakers supporting the thesis were: Wojtek Rzepiński, Kinga Gajewska, Minister Krzysztof Kwiatkowski (Platforma Obywatelska), Błażej Papiernik.

The main speakers opposing the thesis were: Katarzyna Malinowska, Anna Archacka, Member of the Polish Parliament Andrzej Romanek (Solidarna Polska), Bartłomiej Pędzich.

The debate on the reform of the Polish prosecutor’s office in 2010 was very interesting and full of content. After the main debate the public indicated the side which was more convincing – the party supporting the thesis. Minister Krzysztof Kwiatkowski was indicated as the best speaker.
