• Civil society is characterized by an active approach and the ability to self-organize, define and achieve goals without inspiration from the state authorities. Such a society is able to act independently of state institutions. It can be understood as the space extending between the family, the state and the market, in which grassroots social organizations operate. One such organization is the International Institute of Civil Society

The International Institute of Civil Society’s Centre for Analysis (CA MISO) is an expert-analytical unit established in 2017, functioning within the statutory framework of the Institute.
